Passeport Talent is a long-term residence permit launched by the French government to attract highly skilled talents. It is mainly aimed at people who have outstanding abilities in their professional fields or can contribute to the French economy, culture, science and technology, etc.

- The applicant invests through a company that he personally manages or holds at least 30% of the shares;
- The applicant plans to create or preserve jobs in France within four years of the investment;
- The amount of investment in tangible or intangible assets must be at least EUR 300,000.

- The applicant will carry out an innovative entrepreneurial project in France, and the project has been officially recognized by France (such as French Tech, Bpifrance, etc.);

- Applicants must have the ability and resources to implement the project: such as academic background, professional skills, work experience, etc.;

- The applicant has sufficient funds to support the initial operation of the business.

- The applicant is appointed as the legal representative, general manager, etc. of a French company;
- The applicant can prove that he/she has worked as an employee or company executive for at least 3 months in a company of the same group;

The applicant’s annual salary (before tax) is not less than EUR 64,864.80.

- Applicants must have at least 3 years of higher education or 5 years of relevant work experience at an equivalent level;

- Have a labor contract for at least 1 year;

- Annual salary (before tax) not less than EUR 53,836.50.

- Applicants must have obtained a Mastère Spécialisé/Master of Science degree in France (certified by Grandes Ecoles/Higher Business Schools), or a degree at least equivalent to a Master’s degree;

- The applicant has a labor contract of more than 3 months and an annual salary (before tax) of not less than 43,243 euros.

- The applicant is an employee of a company outside France and comes to France for a job transfer within a multinational company or within the same group (intra-group mobility).

- The applicant must have at least 3 months of working experience within the group in which he/she is employed.

- The applicant has signed a labor contract with a French company.

- The applicant’s annual salary (before tax) is not less than EUR 38,918.88.

- The applicant is employed by a start-up innovative company or a company recognized as innovative by the French Ministry of Economy;
- The applicant's job responsibilities are directly related to the company's R&D projects;

- Applicants must possess an academic qualification equivalent to at least a Master’s degree;

- The applicant is coming to France to carry out research or to provide teaching at university level;

- The applicant has signed a reception agreement with a recognized public or private institution with a research or higher education mission. The agreement must state that the applicant is a researcher and specify the purpose of the research and the duration of the stay in France.

- The applicant has an international reputation in the fields of science, technology, art, sports, etc.;
- Applicants must submit proof of full-time income that is no less than the French statutory minimum wage (SMIC);

- All documents that prove your national or international reputation in your chosen field, e.g. participation in international events, awards, etc.;
- Any document that demonstrates the nature, objectives and duration of the applicant’s project in France.
